"BOARD OF TRADE - On Monday evening last, several of our most prominent citizens held a meeting for the purpose of taking preliminary steps to form a Board of Trade for the Town of Cobourg. We are pleased to state that the meeting was a success - the utmost unanimity prevailed and the preliminaries were fully arranged. An adjourned meeting was held last evening for the purpose of completing the organization of the Board and we may now congratulate ourselves on Cobourg having a regularly constituted Board of Trade."
