Unlike many other business organizations, there is no additional charge for this service, nor do we accept paid advertising on this site. As a Member, you deserve full inclusion in the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce website, and your potential customers appreciate easy, uncluttered access to your business!
CHAMBER SPOTLIGHT:
The "Chamber Spotlight" is the official publication of the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce, direct mailed to all Members, surrounding Chambers and business organizations. Published 11 times per year (June/July editions are combined), the "Chamber Spotlight" has a current circulation of well over 400 owners, managers and professionals. All Members are invited to submit articles of interest to the business community, including special events, promotions and business updates. As an introduction to the Membership, the "Chamber Spotlight" incorporates the business cards of all new Members as well as a complimentary "insert" in the publication. Additional inserts are available to all Members for a cost of $100 plus print material.
GATEWAY SIGNAGE:
The Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce owns and maintains two eye-catching signs located at Cobourgs "gateways" on King Street East (at Willmott) and Division Street (south of the 401). Each of these units can accommodate up to 15 individual business signs, available exclusively to Chamber Members for an annual fee.
REFERRALS:
Consumers seeking specific products or services contact the Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce on a daily basis. With the assistance of an extensive, searchable database, Chamber staff provides these potential customers with contact information for Chamber Members offering the requested (and related) products or services. If, for example, a request is made for the name of a Real Estate Agent, the Chamber provides contact information for all Member Realtors, Home Inspection Services, Real Estate Lawyers and General Contractors. Based on the prompt, accurate and thorough information provided, those consumers often come back to the Chamber when they require additional services (plumbers, electricians, landscapers, painters, etc.). Its important to note that, while the Chamber introduces potential customers to its members, we cannot provide "references" for all of our members. We recommend that our Members keep an up to date list of references to be shared with potential clients.
INFORMATION RACK:
The Northumberland Central Chamber of Commerce operates the regions largest and busiest Driver & Vehicle License Office - averaging 600 transactions per week. Chamber Members have exclusive access to information racks prominently displayed to take advantage of this high traffic location.
